Amber
Best for: Anyone who wishes to eliminate fear, self-doubt and welcome new energy and wisdom into your space and self.
Go on a mythical time trip and brace yourself to tap into the knowledge Amber possesses. It is wiser than an owl and its age-old wisdom comes from its unwavering stance against the test of time, as though a tangible testament to eternity.
They say time heals all wounds. Amber is analogous to time truncated and solidified. Let it alleviate your pain and patch you up in no time.
It is like a mysterious elder that will never be fazed because it has seen it all. Whilst everything around it was endlessly evolving, its unchanging perseverance is the perfect antonym to the passage of life. Its form suggests that it has hardened and toughened up after experiencing so much yet it has managed to remain constant and is seemingly frozen in time. What Amber can teach you is timeless and transcendental. It defies conventions but also feels older than convention itself. Amber’s obscure and mystical aura is awe-inspiring but often overlooked. As people come and go within the magical forest it resides in, this stone which appears to be a fleeting occurrence has been and always will be an everlasting presence that encapsulates the ancient past within the present and well into the future.
Amber helps to heal and regain wellness in our system. Not only is it said to ease physical pain, it is helpful for relieving emotional and mental discomfort you have within yourself; specifically when it comes to doubting your capabilities or feeling drained of energy, bringing in warmth and comfort for your soul. Amber is not a crystal. It is a tree resin that has been fossilised for millions of years. It holds a very earthy and medicinal energy unlike others. Imagine the amount of experience and ancient knowledge that is embedded in it. Amber encourages one to be patient with themself, be firm and most importantly, be true to oneself. That’s how you can be content and find true strength within yourself. The fact that it could survive and withstand the test of time, shows how stable and protective it is.
As Amber governs the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras, working with this stone helps to release blockages and open up the space for renewal. Unlike other crystals and minerals, I find Amber’s energy seeps in slower, not forthcoming in a way that may push some people off. The liquid gold energy flows through the system slowly and calmly, taking the time to connect with you fully. If it is your first time connecting, I would encourage you to hold onto the stone for a longer period of time. Reminder again that this stone teaches patience and stability. Try rubbing the stone on the tip of each finger then the palm of your hands gently to help with clearing energy blockages in your chakras. Do this continuously for at least 7 days. You may also hold it and rotate around your abdomen area to ease any stomach/digestive discomfort.
The energy of Amber somehow connects me strongly to the ancient Egyptians, specifically Pharaoh and Scarab. A signal to me that its main purpose is for protection and healing. So for those who feel that these two areas are what you seek, you should definitely consider having an amber on you.

Fun fact(s)
1) Amber is actually not a stone, but rather amorphous, fossilized tree sap. Amber comes from the fossilized resin that lived tens of millions of years ago in trees. (Credits: jewelsforme)
2) Real Amber fluorescence blue-green under UV light and floats on saltwater (Credits: How to find Rocks)
3) Amber was one of the first few natural items to be used as jewellery. In fact, decorated amber pieces have been found in remains from as far back as the Stone Age. They were used as amulets and talismans before and during the time of ancient Greece. (Credits: jewelsforme)
4) Genuine amber is lightweight and slightly warm to the touch. This is due to it being underground for millions of years and because of its chemical composition. (Credits: Baltic Wonder)
